The official language of the congress is English. All abstract submissions and presentations are to be conducted in English.
An application will be submitted for CME points.
A commercial and professional exhibition will be take place during the congress, parallel to the congress hours.
Clothing and Climate
Brisbane’s hot months are late November, December, January, February and early March, with high temperatures and humidity.
During the height of summer, temperatures can reach as high as 40-45°C (107°F), but on most summer days, maximum daytime temperatures rise to 31-35°C (88-91°F).
The time zone of Brisbane is the Australian Eastern time zone UTC +10:00
Banking and Exchange
The official currency in Australia is the Australian dollar. Foreign currency may be changed at banks and airports.
All major credit cards are acceptable in most hotels, restaurants and shops.
Anyone who is not an Australian citizen needs a valid visa to enter and spend time in Brisbane, Australia. With the exception of New Zealand citizens travelling on New Zealand passports, all foreign nationals must obtain a visa before travelling to Australia. (New Zealand citizens are issued with a visa on arrival in Australia.)
Visas are available from Australian visa offices such as Australian Embassies, High Commissions and Consulates. They are also available from travel agents and airlines in certain countries.
